No. The platform is also designed for parents, guardians, educators, and allies who want to better understand and support queer young people.
My child just came out. Where do I start?
Rainbow Space app provides beginner-friendly resources, podcasts, and expert guidance to help parents navigate conversations and emotions with confidence and compassion. Start by downloading our app and explore the content we curated for you.
Are adult and teen spaces separated?
Yes. Rainbow Space app includes two separate sections, one for adults and one for teens, to ensure age-appropriate content and safer community experiences. Our teen resources and content are reviewed by accredited professionals.
Is the app accessible for neurodivergent users?
Rainbow Space aims to create accessible and sensory-considerate experiences wherever possible. To support this, we consult with Neurohaus, pioneers in the field of neuroinclusive consumer design.
Is my information private?
Yes. We take privacy seriously and handle personal data in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
How are therapists vetted?
Therapists must be professionally accredited by one of the leading UK institutions, hold an enhanced DBS check, and be LGBTQ+ themselves, with experience supporting queer individuals and families.
Is Rainbow Space a crisis support service?

Is Rainbow Space free?
Rainbow Space app uses a freemium model, meaning that 80% of its content is available for free. A premium subscription unlocks additional content such as bonus podcast episodes, audio stories, meditations for children, and safe community chat features.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscription can be cancelled at any time through the App Store or Google Play.
Do teens need a paid subscription?
No. The teen section is designed to remain free and accessible.
What age rating does the app have?
The age rating for the app is 13+, for the teen section, where content is curated and reviewed by accredited professionals.
Is the app available outside the UK?
The app is launching in the UK first, with plans to expand to US and Canada in 2027.
